My Boat Collection
This site is designed and edited by myself and is intended to share my thoughts and design modifications that I have done to my Radio Controlled Boats. I have studied some other web sites, magazines and other boat conversions and after some hours of deliberation, have come up with my own ideas. Hopefully these ideas of mine are fairly cheap to do, I don’t believe in paying through the nose for everything, when a little ingenuity and an hour or so’s time can achieve virtually the same result and saved you money in the process.
I am no expert and don’t profess to be such, my ideas are basic, but basic works and is not mind blowingly over complex , nor do they involve an honours degree in electronic circuitry building. I have a basic tool kit, don’t own a workshop, no lathe, drilling rig, milling machine. I simply don’t have the money or space for these tools, so get by with a selection of screwdrivers, spanners, sockets, mini drills, knives, small saws and a rechargeable cordless drill. Nothing more exciting than this folks, so yes, you can achieve if not even surpass my ideas and make your boats better than mine.
I have attached some pictures to give you all some clues as to what these boats look like, these images are off the net and not mine, but give you example of what they are. The following pages include photo’s of my own boats, including various stages of construction, renovation, refurbishment and reworking. Please appreciate that the majority of these boats I am working on are secondhand, so I had no say in their original construction, so that accounts for some of the repairs I have had to complete.
Please dont forget to check my other pages to see update on my boats and their associated build blogs.
